🌿 With full hearts, we said goodbye to the beloved Mrs. Fiss, who retired this year after 42 incredible dedicated years of teaching, and to being a Founding Teacher here at MATES since the very beginning. Her profound impact in and out of the classroom has left a lasting mark on our community.⁣

To honor her legacy, we proudly dedicated the Fiss Garden—a peaceful, growing space that reflects the care, wisdom, and nurturing spirit she shared with so many generations of students. 🌼💚⁣

Thank you, Mrs. Fiss, for planting countless seeds of curiosity, kindness, and growth for so many students that will bloom for years to come. Don’t have too much fun in retirement.. or better yet, come back and visit us sometime! 😉💐⁣

We celebrated the wonderful MATES Staff who inspire, guide, and shape the minds of our children. Their passion, patience, and dedication make a lasting difference every single day. We thank them for all that they do for the MATES Community!

🤩😮🤯 Have you seen — Not only do we have the most amazing student body, but we also have the most incredible community of parents, families, and volunteers who stepped up in such a BIG way to make our MATES staff feel so loved this week. 🤩

Our busy bees 🐝 were hard at work over spring break — just look at these incredible doors they designed, created, and hung for all of us to return to this week (on Monday morning!)! 🚪🎨 The creativity, time, and heart that went into every single one is truly off the charts. We are blown away by the talent and love in our community! Be sure to stop by your child’s classroom to see the talent for yourself this week. 🖌️🏆🖼️

Monday – Write Your Teacher a Note 📖
Students bring a thank you note to class for their teacher, aides, assigned specialists, & MATES staff. Drop student notes in the baskets located in your classroom or MATES office.

Tuesday – Bring Your Teacher a Flower 🌷
Don’t forget to bring one from your garden (or the store 😊)!

Wednesday – A Note From Parents 💌
Parents’ turn to write notes for their child’s teacher, aides, assigned specialists, & MATES staff!

Thursday – Wishlist Day 🌟
Fulfill your teacher’s wishlists! Drop supplies in the baskets upon entering the classroom. Each grade also has a staff member assigned to make their wishes come true!

Friday – Gift Time 🎁🌸
Teachers get a special gift using classroom funds!
