Hello new MATES Families,
We have a message for you on behalf of the MATES Community Network or MCN. MCN is the supporting organization of MATES and provides community building, fundraising and educational programs for all students, families, and staff. Every student, parent and staff is a member of MCN. MCN is supporting MATES in helping with our Back to School Bash on Sunday August 21st, at 3pm. We are excited to meet you all! On this day, parents will have the opportunity to:
- Meet your child’s new teacher and visit the new classroom
- Meet the after school enrichment vendors and register for programs
- Bring your driver’s license to obtain your LobbyGuard key card required to check in on campus
- Purchase new MATES clothing from Dennis Uniforms (fitting rooms will be available) and gently used MATES clothing from the MATES Marketplace
- Visit the various MCN stations through the campus with the balloons to learn how MCN supports MATES and
Uncle Chris Italian Ice will be on campus selling some tasty treats, with 15% of the proceeds going back to the school. Chorus students will be performing and classrooms will be open. New incoming students will have an opportunity to meet children from their new classes. We look forward to seeing you on Sunday!
