We are so thrilled to share some wonderful news! At Monday (Oct. 26) evening’s Ventura County Board of Education meeting, the MATES charter was renewed for another seven years! 🦅✨

As a charter school, MATES operates under a charter, or contract, with our authorizer, the Ventura County Board of Education (VCBE). The renewal process is an important accountability measure designed to ensure that we continue to provide a high-quality education for our students.

The VCBE recognized MATES as a high-performing charter school and, following a thorough and comprehensive evaluation process, approved our charter renewal for another seven years! 💛💙

We are incredibly proud of this achievement and grateful to our students, families, and staff, whose dedication and hard work make MATES such a special place.

This milestone reflects the strength of our school community and our shared commitment to student success.
