📣 MATES Fun Run Update! 🗣️
GET READY & FINISH STRONG!
🌧️🌈☀️ We have been watching the weather all day, and the forecast calls for rain tomorrow. Fortunately, rain or shine, Apex knows how to have a party! 🏃♂️🏃♀️🎉
Due to the weather, in lieu of our typical Fun Run jog-a-thon event, tomorrow, we will have an indoor Apex REMIX event in the MPR. The REMIX is a glow in the dark fitness party in which the students will be challenged to complete 42 fitness moves.
Our Apex leaders will take our students through a fun, upbeat mix of fitness moves and exercises. Unfortunately, the weather will not allow for our annual Fun Run as usual, but Apex has plans to make the REMIX event really fun and exciting for our kids. 🎧🎵🔊
Because the event will be held indoors in the MPR, we will not have space to accommodate parent volunteers and spectators. If you signed up to be a volunteer tomorrow, we greatly appreciate your willingness to help, but please take the day off! We will not need volunteers after all.
We are excited to try something new and different. Our students have been learning about grit in our leadership lessons from the Apex team, and tomorrow they will have a chance to show it!

2025-2026 LEADERSHIP THEME: LEVEL UP
Apex is a two-week interactive leadership and character-building program combined with a fitness-focused event fundraiser to help schools raise much needed funds.
Our goal is to provide all of our students with the best education and school experience possible and to ensure they have the tools they need to learn and grow.
All students are included in the leadership program and fitness event regardless of financial participation in the fundraiser.
What Can You Do to Help?
1. Go to MyApexEvent.Com, and log in using your child’s unique ACCESS CODE. Their Access Code and a QR code for the site can be found on their VIP Badge.
2. Use the “Share Wizard” tool to send a donation link to family and friends via email, text, and social media asking that they donate online to help our school.
3. Make a flat donation, OR pledge a dollar amount per unit that your child completes at the event. Please know that no donation is too small.
4. Encourage your child to do their best at our fitness event!
Each year, Apex participates in a non-profit giveback. This year, we are partnering with St. Jude.
For every student that reaches $10/lap, we will donate to St. Jude on their behalf to help kids and families who need it most.
