What an experience to be in the comeback CVD Parade. It’s been 20 years since the last parade, and we are the ONLY elementary marching band in the entire area which made it even sweeter. Our fourth and fifth graders made such an impression, they made the Acorn Paper! Page 7! What an honor to represent our school in such a way.

Simply put: we just ADORE each and every one of you. Thank you for all you do to make our school the best. ❤️

Last day lunch for our amazing Staff was the best ending! @inspiredclosetsla was so kind to sponsor our lunch along with @mouthfuleatery. Everyone was going back for seconds because it was absolutely delicious. One final thank you to our Staff who deserves to be treated like every week is teachers appreciation week because you are the absolute best!

How many cups of coffee is too much? Asking for OUR TEACHERS. This morning we had all the good vibes brewing with @goodhartcoffee. So many options for our staff to enjoy. And these cute little helpers were just the extra sugar we needed to top it all off!

Wow! Our specialists doors are up and we needed to let them know they are SO appreciated. School would not be the same without each and every one of you adding the sparkle to each and every day at MATES. Thank you for all you do to go above and beyond for our students! You rock!

That’s a wrap for this year’s GROOVY MATES treat cart! Every year @charlasplace3 (along with Kai) out does herself with her TOTALLY RADICAL themed out cart but this year might be our favorite. She was STACKED with @abesmuffins (which are egg, soy, nut, and dairy free), cinnamon rolls, yogurt parfaits, Orange juice and of course coffee. Thank you for being STELLAR and making this year one of the best we have ever had. ✌🏼🕺🪩

Teacher’s Doors are UP! Thank you to everyone who poured their heart and soul into our Era Theme! Our teachers are timeless jewels and we SO appreciate them. Not just this week, but ALL YEAR! 🚪

Throwback Tuesday to one of the most attended MCN events, International Night! Students were able to experience Our MATES World and learn about different cultures that make up our diverse community. Huge Thank you to everyone who was able to be a part of making this event as successful as it was, especially @l_dub32. Our community is amazing and we are so glad you are a part of it!🌎
