Get Ready! Jog-A-Thon will be on Friday, November 14th!

GENERAL INFO
The Jog-A-Thon will be conducted by “Apex Fun Run”. It will be a pledge-based program, and funds raised will benefit MATES. Starting on Monday, Apex will kick-off 2 weeks of FUN with a Pep Rally for the MATES students explaining how the pledge drive works, with fun skits about the importance of fitness and leadership. Students will receive a Pledge Kit explaining all of the details.

HOW THE PLEDGE DRIVE WORKS
Students are challenged to get pledges for the laps they will run during Jog-a-thon.  Sponsors can pledge a flat rate, or $1, $2, $5 or any other amount for each lap students run (with a maximum of 36 laps). All participants will receive an access code that allows you to enter pledges online.

(The Jog-a-thon is for every student, regardless of financial giving. All students will receive Apex bands, race-day lap counters, and team awards.)

HOW YOU CAN HELP
You can help our school be successful in the following four ways:

• Help connect your child to potential sponsors (family/friends) to acquire pledges.
• Ask your child about the “Apex Extreme” character lessons, and download the “Apex Fun Run” App!
• Come to the Apex Fun Run and cheer the students on! Parents only, please.
• Help volunteer for the race! We need a few parents to help cheer on students and mark laps. If you would like to volunteer for your student’s race, please contact MCN Fundraising.
