Here is tonight’s challenge:
PRINCIPAL CHALLENGE!
If we can jump up as an entire school by $400/lap by Friday, (YES, WE HAVE TWO NIGHTS), Mrs. Olshever has agreed to do something extreme for MATES!
Basically, if every student got one more pledge of a flat $30 or $1/lap, we’d make it!

Any student who gets a pledge/donation of ANY amount will have a chance to win some cool Apex gear/swag! One lucky winner from each grade level will win!

𝗔𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿: Commit to learning something completely new with your child! Maybe hair braiding? A new sports skill? A second language? Show your dedication, overcome frustrations, and feel a sense of accomplishment, together!

Whichever grade level gets the most out-of-state pledges over the weekend, the Apex team will take a pie to the face for EVERY STATE that grade level gets a pledge from!

The class with the biggest rise in donations will earn a one-of-a-kind Apex Mystery Prize!
𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆’𝘀 𝗔𝗽𝗲𝘅 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀:
OWN IT
There are two parts to “owning it”.
First, we step up and embrace responsibility.
The second part is being accountable for our actions, successes, and mistakes.
No matter the moment, JUST OWN IT!
𝗔𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿: Discuss a scenario with your child when you had to be accountable for your actions and how you felt when you “owned it”. Ask your child to give you examples of what it means to them to “own it”.
𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆’𝘀 𝗔𝗽𝗲𝘅 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀:
SELF-STARTER
Self-starters set out to accomplish things without being told.
They give themselves a little “spark” to get pumped up and motivated to take on each and every day!
𝗔𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿: Help your child make a list of the things they can accomplish each morning to get ready to take on each day without having to be reminded to get it done!

The class with the most students to input 5 new shares on the Share Wizard will get to pie their Apex member in the face FIVE TIMES!!!

ASPIRE
It’s awesome to have big dreams and big goals.
It helps us to strive for greatness.
When we aspire for greatness, we also inspire those around us to do the same!
𝗔𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿: Ask your child about a big dream or big goal they have and how they’re striving to make it happen? Help them make a dream / vision board (a collage of images, pics, and affirmations) of their goal(s) to serve as a source of inspiration and motivation!

The leadership and character piece of the #ApexASONE program started today, and we couldn’t be more excited!
Over the next 2 weeks, Apex will take students on a quest in search of the key to becoming great leaders and learn some important habits along the way.
We’ll highlight a different leadership habit each day so families can continue the conversation at home.
